Yes that might be so but TS specifically requests: "we would need information about the construction of the PCB’s compute module: the class of flammability, clearance, creepage distances, electrical insulation. "
Which are typically LVD related issues. Also, the questions are very non specific. Creepage and clearance are circuit related and so have no general value. At best the applicable standards define minimum values for those as design rules or guidelines.
Concerning the flammability, have you ever seen a glass fibre epoxy board that didn't have at least equal to UL94-V0 flammability rating? I mean one that burns like a candle
When was the last time you checked the flammabiltiy rating of resistors, capacitors or IC packages? Why only consider de flammabiltiy of the board? I suspect a lot of UL rules are only here to generate a constant cash flow in the direction of UL. That's how the finance their institution.
