Installed the display yesterday, all OK once I realised the power adapter wasn't man enough and found a 2A version.
I've run sudo apt-get update and upgrade and the screen is working and I have rudimentary touch, not sure I have multi-touch enabled and I don't have an on-screen keyboard. Any pointers on how I enable that?

Hmm OK thanks. I saw that but the ads for the display suggested it was something new and would be installed as part of the update to support the display so I thought it must be a different thing entirely. If that's the one then I'll go install it, but surprised there is no more detail on that part of the install given it's rather important to use the display.

I heard about this via a Pimoroni Newsletter. Their sales page mentions support for a keyboard.

Truly Interactive - the latest software drivers will support a virtual ‘on screen’ keyboard, so there is no need to plug in a keyboard and mouse.

Indeed but many of us will read that it is, else what use is a touchscreen display?
This is from the Pi Hut:
And this from Swag:
I'm not moaning, was simply confused that this is widely mentioned on retailer pages yet there is zero info on it so it's going to leave a lot of buyers perplexed was I was.

Touchscreen drivers with support for 10-finger touch and an on-screen keyboard will be integrated into the latest Raspbian OS for full functionality without a physical keyboard or mouse.

This review doesn't help http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/201 ... ouchscreen
It says
"Updates to the Raspbian OS will also be made to coincide with the launch of the touchscreen. On-screen keyboard functionality will be integrated into the latest version of the OS along with a range of touch-enabled educational and software programs for Pi. "
