OpenVPN server

Wed Jul 15, 2015 12:57 pm

Sorry of this is the wrong section for my question.\
I have Raspberry Pi 2 with Raspbian 2015-05-05 installed with NOOBS Lite.
I have used a document called "soho-remote-access-vpn-easy-pie-raspberry-pi-34427" in effort to make my own VPN server. The site did not allow me to attache it but it is widely available on the web.
After following the guide I get the following error:
"[FAIL] Starting virtual private network daemon: server failed!".
I found that in the latesdt Raspbian release there are some changes in the way the Pi manages networking - raspberrypi-net-mods.
In the guide there is some configuration regarding firewall and nat:
"iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s -o eth0 -j SNAT --tosource"
The command is in a script file called "firewall-openvpn-rules.sh" which is added to the interfaces file:
iface eth0 inet dhcp
pre-up /etc/firewall-openvpn-rules.sh
Can somebody explain how to configure OpenVPN with the new network mods? I have tried multiple times to reinstall the os and redo the steps in the guide but still have ho success. All of the guides on the net are describing procedures to configure OpenVPN for the old raspberry. Please HELP!!!
