Sorry about that; I've been moving away from dropbox, try -simplesi wrote:Just tried to download NuScratch5.tgz but link doesn't seem to work
Hah! Oddly enough I just dealt with that a couple of weeks ago; it's in the upcoming beta release. Which is being kept back while we try to get a handle on the sound lock-up problem. Which looks like a possible kernel fix is needed, since apparently there is some clash between the timer interrupt I'm using and some other important vector that ... whatever.ghp wrote:Hello,
I looked for a nice feature in scratch: animated gifs.
Excellent. Thanks for testing it out.simplesi wrote:Just tested NuScratch5 for compatibility wit ScratchGPIO and it seems fine - sends out broadcasts and variable changes and receives sensor updates from Python
Yup. The deeply technical and important one of "I didn't get around to doing anything about it." I've done something about it for the beta release. Which should be out soon... if the sound nonsense can be solved.simplesi wrote:PS Any reason for font change from standard 1.4?

oh, and without throttling it now does around 200fps on a pi2.timrowledge wrote:So how do you folks feel about running Asteroids fast enough that it gets throttled to 'only' 50 fps?
Pretty soon; and I'll be back at the bug-fixing mines very soon. Some stuff to do with AstroPi etc first.ghp wrote:Hello,
do you already have plans when this release is delivered to the public ?
And what is progress on bug fixes ? Kids in school complained a lot about the "sudden crashes".
