Quick question, I have a RPi running Debian. I've run rpi-update to get the latest firmware, and also apt-get update -> apt-get upgrade. I've also expanded the image to the full size of my 8GB SD card.
All of that is provide context; I've got an EyeToy too, but there are no drivers for it so nothing appears in /dev. It does appear in the list when doing an 'lsusb' and also events of it being plugged in appear in 'dmesg'.
I've read things about an ov51x driver, and using module-assistant, but I'm having no such luck; the drivers look painfully out of date.
I have experience with using linux, but not kernel compiling etc. I was wondering how the EyeToy can work plug and play in Arch, but with the default Debian image you get nothing?
Can anyone help?
