Guess what was waiting for me when I got home today...... Yes a real life Raspberry Pi.

So before playing I did something constructive.

I think i'm going to have to order more now. So many projects and not enough Pi.

Nice one Although, might want to replace the counter, its only counting hits (so if you reload, it counts again) and not uniques.

What do you plan on doing with the WebPi then? :p

I thought about that, but i want as little load as possible. So it's just a tiny piece of php.

I'm no web developer, so if you have some lightweight code that would be up to the task without using a database. I'm more than happy to consider changes.

It's going to be a front end for controlling one of these.

I'm a network admin by trade this is just taking me back to my real time system roots.

Why not, if its just controlled by buttons, then it should be easy to control it from the GPIO's.

I didn't, mine has a USB, it was the first image in google pictures.

It has been connected to my mini-itx board for a while, but it's going to be vehicle mounted, playstation controller and webpage driven, with a webcam, doing facial recognition. All Pi powered. hopefully.

Great job! And given the absence of competing claims, I think you probably get the prize for world first

I'm currently experimenting with web server software for the Pi, and will report on progress in the Forum, but I'm not sure it will make it easier for you to sift out unique visitors for your counter.
