Farnell Pi's being shipped after my order was placed?

Mine is 16481XXX

I got told that it would be next week (23/4/2012) that mine will arrive. After emailing farnell 4 times and a phone call my latest update is 2-4+ weeks for me.

I ordered on the day at 5pm, I couldn't any earlier from where I was at school all day.

I hope they arrive earlier

Yes mine is 16469xxx (14:04) and Farnell told me that it would be a while yet, but I was near the top of the queue. He also said that they (Farnell) had only had 200 allocated in the UK.  Not sure if that's true or not.

Just an update, I received an email telling me Farnell was checking into it, and forwarding the email to the correct people. That was on the 14th; I haven't heard anything since then.

If we're going by order reference numbers then mine should have been shipped, since it's lower than other order numbers which have been shipped: 164530XX

It will get here when it gets here I guess. I'm just disappointed that the first come first serve policy is apparently a bunch of malarkey.

interesting that there does not seem to be much logic in the delivery order from Farnell.  I had assumed i would be waiting a long time (which i still am patiently) but there are definately orders after me being sent:

confirmation number : 164548XX

interesting to note that I ordered with Farnell France, so i suspect they are waiting for shipping to their distribution center in France rather than the UK distribution center.

the other thing that is slighlty annoying me is that the price on the order is still higher than the price that they said they would be.  the order page is still listing €53.20!

I've heard nothing since but guessing by other comments I should be adding about 4 weeks to this?

Please can all of you remember to come back here and post your order numbers when your Pi arrives so that those of us still waiting can see how we are moving up the list!

I am Farnell too (Farnell export), 164523xx 07:08 29th.

(That is 300 orders in 4 minutes comparing to JulianB's order # with mine!!!)

Still no update on delivery, their website says my order is still on back order so I don't know whats going on since Julian said he already has received his and his order # is higher than mine. I am going through the export site though since I am in the US so I am sure that doesn't help with shipping. I guess we will see what happens in the coming weeks.

However my order is with Farnell Export delivering to Canada which probably means Farnell UK -> Newark USA -> Canada with all the usual delivery and customs delays.

Mines 165481XX 03/03 so could be a bit of a wait! Mind you my order on my account at Farnell (UK) does say processing... which could probably mean anything, really. Still, I've waited this long so a little longer wont matter really. Anyhow, I'm not stressing. It will be here when it gets here.

Whilst Raspberry Pi orders might be the majority of orders in the first few hours they soon won't be. Hence the order numbers can only be a rough guide to position in queue - for example the order at 08:19 is about 3100 in the queue and about 1200 after the last known delivery. But the batch of 700 straddles order nos 164520xx to 164540xx so only about less than half of the orders are for Pis. Too lazy to do a graph!

Sorry svrsig, but I think I might have confused things a bit there.

On second thoughts perhaps not though, as I thought at first you were only quoting orders which have actually been received, rather than an "orders placed" list, and we don"t want to mislead anyone!

The last one in the list (166593xx) is me, and I have NOT received my Pi yet. The date quoted is when I actually received an acknowledgement of my order, although I had 'registered an interest' before then.
