Punnet for B+

Hi,

I've just ordered the B+ and since I'm a big fan of DIY I would like to know if someone already did the schematics to adapt the punnet box to the new B+?

I would love to do something similar with thin plywood, since I don't have a cnc the design must be very simple.

If no one as done this I will do it as soon as I get the board.

Cheers, I think the 4.5mm jack may be a little tight but its located ok, I think I'd add some support around the lid next time, allow it to close a little more securely.

The 4.5mm jack is going to be a bit of a tight fit in a 3.5mm socket on your RPi. You may need to turn it down to size on your lathe.

I was bored so I took it upon myself to make one.

The Ethernet and USB ports stick out in my version. The template is of the inside of the case, so you would fold everything up. When printing the PDF, be sure to select "actual size" from the print menu. If you leave the default "fit" option, your case will be too small.

Could you mirror image the template, it would be nice to hide the lines.

The lines ARE hidden in the template. you would fold inwards on the dashed lines and the lines would be on the inside of the case

I think your printer settings are different because I had to flip the file to make it correctly.

Just look at the file and imagine folding it, it needs flipping.
