Re: Teamviewer on Raspberry Pi?
You should be able to use it on the pi, however there might be a little config Also im not sure the pi could handle such bloated software. But you can try. If i were you i would stick to ssh and ftp.

Are you sure? I thought teamviewer was only available with intel linux platforms which is not compatible with arm-linux.A1i2T3R wrote:You should be able to use it on the pi, however there might be a little config Also im not sure the pi could handle such bloated software. Re: Teamviewer on Raspberry Pi?
Guide here. Caveat Emptor! I believe this only works for 32-bit Raspberry Pi OS and not currently 64-Bit Raspberry Pi OS. Read the entire how-to before you attempt an install, it's not super clean... pretty dirty in fact... I will install on a 32-bit install of Raspberry Pi OS and report back at later date.
There's a thread here about making it work with 64-bit but someone has reported it messed up their Apt. I would make an image of your SD card before you attempt this, this way if it completely borks your Apt you can go back to a saved state.
I will install both on 32-bit and 64-bit and report back,

Re: Teamviewer on Raspberry Pi?
You are replaying to an ancient post, in six years various different versions of the OS were released!
so this thread and HOWTO is now simply obsolete!
posting problems to the new 64-bit Alpha feedback thread is excellent, but you take the risk that your experience was based on obsolete experience, of how to do the things you are explaining about, its possible that there are now new ways to do something..

Re: Teamviewer on Raspberry Pi?
I see a LOT of Teamviewer users complaining about being incorrectly classified as a commercial user. When this happens one needs to fill out a form or each ID and wait for a while until the IDs get unblocked.
So if you are on a local WLAN then use VHC to connect - that works very well.

Re: Teamviewer on Raspberry Pi? [obsolete]
VNC, not VHC. (just for info.)
