Turning Ideas into Resources

We had lots of ideas generated by all the teachers at Picademy. So many in fact that our admin team are having difficulty typing them all up for me!

Has anyone, Rasp Pi Certified Educator or otherwise, had any success yet in turning an idea into something that can be used as a resource in the classroom? Have you got so far but are not sure how to write it up and submit it to use at the foundation?

I'm in the process of generating some material for a workshop, once I've produced them I would be more than happy for them to be used as general resources (should be suitable for any typical Traffic Light kit).

So far I've tried to format them using markdown so I hope they could fit in with the foundation needs. Is there any specific guidance or requirements the foundation has for such material?

Obviously I'm not a teacher, so I would welcome feedback on it with that in mind too, so I can improve what I produce and make it more suitable for the class-room where possible (or at the very least provide content which teachers are then able to adapt to their requirements).

Update:

The resources are now available at:

They have been battle tested at Digimakers @Bristol event last Saturday (14th June).
The material went down very well indeed (as did the prototype hardware).

I will be growing this resource and would love to receive feedback on it.

PS:
The only thing I would have improved in the workshop was to have pre-setup SD-Cards. I had planned to have them, but run out of time and since it was open to the public and not everyone had working Rasbian Images. Other than that, I was blown away with the response and how well the attendees got stuck and experimented and then followed through with their own ideas based on what they had learnt.

I wanted to produce some information on Linux commands for beginners (basics) and using Vi.

Is there a layout for these?

Github appears to be the preferred location, and allows it to be improved and adjusted over time in a controlled way.
