Hello all,

Raspberry Pi and hub can operates together with a power adapter (with hub acting actively) or both by itself (with hub being passive):

So what you all think of it?

Re: Case with built-in modular usb hub
Not many cases have protection for the SD card and using a micro + adapter means taking the Pi out of the case to swap, your case overcomes that - good work!
I'm liking the green too

Re: Case with built-in modular usb hub
How did you put this together? I have not seen an Xbox CD case but I doubt it's that exact shape, did you cut out all the flat pieces and glue them together, or is the plastic folded somehow?
Re: Case with built-in modular usb hub
Yup cut out all the pieces that is needed.
Sadly have to use clear tape to hold it together for now as couldn't find plastic glue that don't leave a mess or fogged up the plastic.
All the tool you need is: exacto knife and a ruler

Re: Case with built-in modular usb hub
I have seen plastic solvent type glue that can make clear joints but it only works on specific types of plastic (acrylic?) which may be not what you have. http://www.curbellplastics.com/adhesive ... sives.html
They probably can be messy, but if applied correctly I've seen some very clean looking joints made that way.

I don't know what kind of plastic the case is mad of but tried 2 different solvent glues both don't gave right result.
