Hi

Can you be more specific on what you are trying to achieve?

Is it VoIP (voice over internet protocol) to make low/no cost calls?

VoIPstunt works on windows, iMac and Linux using a SIP phone.

For instance, I could call Singapore Airlines in Singapore at no cost or SIA in the UK and pay.

General SIP Settings
SIP port : 5060
Registrar : sip.voipstunt.com
Proxy server : sip.voipstunt.com
Outbound proxy server : leave empty
Account name : your VoipStunt username
Password : your VoipStunt password
Display name/number : your VoipStunt username or voipnumber
Stunserver (option) : stun.voipstunt.com

thanks for your reply
in china that's the ONLY one can call mobile phone for FREE.
but it required using PC not mobile, and using chrome browser.
which it's not convenient for limited PC.

i have free wifi router and several mobile phone, i wonder if there is any app or program can simulate PC and Chrome browser to cheat the site. which python might work with that. using user-agent for http header.
but i don't know how to using microphone using python.

any idea ?

I thought there was a version of Chrome for the Pi?

Something like...

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
...perhaps?

Yes - Simply 'sudo apt-get install chromium' (Defo works Raspberry Pi)
Alternitively you can install chrome by 'sudo apt-get install google-chrome-stable' (At least this works on other Linux Distros)
You could say my love for Linux is terminal ;)

There is a build of chromium for the Pi but it is an older version because of problems building more recent ones.

As far as I can tell there has never been a google branded chrome for the Pi.

theoscy does not appear to know what he is talking about.

A joke is a very serious thing.

Not any more; they have forked to something they call "blink" (and Opera has followed them).
Minimal Kiosk Browser (kweb)
Slim, fast webkit browser with support for audio+video+playlists+youtube+pdf+download
Optional fullscreen kiosk mode and command interface for embedded applications
Includes omxplayerGUI, an X front end for omxplayer
