How to connect Raspberry Pi to computer over Wi-Fi

Hi Guys.I have a problem about connection.I'd like to connect my raspberry pi to my Windows 7 or Ubuntu (Doesn't matter which is) over Wi-Fi.But I couldn't handle it.I need your help.How can i connect my raspberry pi to computer ? Thanks.

I assume you want to control your pi from your windows 7 computer. If this is the case then there are many ways of doing this. My personal fav is using TightVNC witch once installed onto your pi you can access using a VNC viewer meaning you can access your pi's desktop from windows and android etc....
