Joke Ideas for the Announcement

In just over 3 hours some announcement will be made on the front site, I think we all know what we expect it to be (winks as good as a nudge!), but what are some jokes that they might put against us?

At 0600 they announce:

That they've finally decided on an official release date and the post will announce when that (future) date will be.

That they're finally releasing the runner ups for the logo contest (deep breaths Liz!)

That this whole thing was a social experiment by a bunch of freshmen at Yale and the cake... er the pi was a lie!

my idea was that at 5:59am the store is setup to say they are sold out, emails to @raspberrypi.org are bounced back to sender and the forum 404's

The announcement will be that within this first batch will be five pieces that have golden tickets. Those tickets will admit the holder, plus a guest, to a behind-the-scene tour of Raspberry Towers where they can see the Raspberry version of an Oompa Loompa, see the research and development items, such as the everlasting Raspberry Pi, and the eatable Raspberry Pi.

The Raspberrypi"s were completed on time but after all the affair over them they have become shy and ran away to not be seen again.

Good news is that we managed to produce 10 times the original plan, and drop the price to USD 7.50, by a strategic partnership with Microsoft. Oh, the Raspberry Pi will come with Windows 8 Fruity Edition burned in a ROM.

To be honest, I could more easily imagine that they'd use it as leverage for having people pay an Internet Tax, instead!

No joke-announcements to add, unfortunately, since at the time of writing, the real announcement is long gone!
