Re: Farnell assembled Gertboard

The male boxed headers that compress onto the ribbon seem to be very hard to get.
I think I found the right one:

Farnell order no: 1098599 UK stock is 65. (So hurry :-)

Newark: 97M4573

RS order number 681-1736 but they are out of stock.
RS claim these will come in on the 15-Febr.

Mouser: 571-2-111446-0

Digikey: APK26B-ND

For other places try the manufacturer ID which may be helpful:
TE Connectivity Part Number: 2-111446-0
or
Omron Part Number: XG4E-2631

I misread that first time and thought you'd been treading on your Gertboard. (I'm sure that wasn't in the manual  ).

I expect they're easily removed with a squeeze from a pair of pliers at the top end are they?
No not very easy!

Oh. I tried it just for fun and it worked second time. It was a little awkward, but took less than a minute. It needed to be squeezed and wiggled simultaneously.
