Tall Case?
Is anyone making a tall case that could hold a XBee on a GPIO adapter card, wold like to have about 45mm above the RPI PCB.
Re: Tall Case?
Guess not.
Re: Tall Case?
As of now I don't know of any over tall cases. I use https://www.adafruit.com/products/859 and just leave the top piece out when I use a device that makes it to tall. The only other option would be a Lego case or modify the files for the Adafruit type to have taller sides would need a cutter though. I know the schematics for that case are out there somewhere. Also Avis Tech (they post on this board) had a successful Kickstarter and are doing some sort of stacking option they haven't finalized design as far as I have heard. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/623 ... s?ref=live

Jim-
We have a few different options for add on boards and they should be ready for testing in 3-4 weeks. I'll let you know about xbee compatibility once we get prototypes.

Re: Tall Case?
My current solution is a simple ABS project box, It works ok, but mounting the RPI is a pain.
Re: Tall Case?
I see...what are you using to mount it now?JimDod wrote:My current solution is a simple ABS project box, It works ok, but mounting the RPI is a pain.
Re: Tall Case?
I use some small nylon Hex Standoffs like http://amzn.com/B00137PXNS along the esge of the board in places where the nuts would not damage anything.AVIESTech wrote:I see...what are you using to mount it now?JimDod wrote:My current solution is a simple ABS project box, It works ok, but mounting the RPI is a pain.
