Assuming it all goes well, we might see 100 or so boards on ebay next week, which\'d be extremely exciting.
If this does happen, what would your maximum bid be? I know it\'s a little bit dirty to talk about bidding, because nobody does it, but I\'m quite open about these things and I\'m curious what other people are thinking.
My maximum bid would be between £100 and £200, depending on how I\'m feeling about my finances on any particular day (I don\'t have money). I hope (for the foundation) that this would be well below the actual winning price.
Anybody else have any idea how much they\'d bid?
Also, I wonder how the auction will work? I\'m no ebay expert, so I don\'t know if they\'d have to do 100 individual auctions to be able to get the highest bid from each, or whether they can do 1 auction and have the top 100 bidders each pay their own highest bid (rather than all pay the 100th highest bid). When I\'ve seen auctions with \'100 available\', it has always been for buy it now. If they had 100 individual auctions running that\'d be a bit of a pain -- I\'m not sure I\'d have the patience to keep on trying if I missed on my first go, and I wouldn\'t want to bid on more than one simultaneously (because if I accidentally won all of them, my wife would be somewhat annoyed -- she definitely would not see the funny side of 10 tiny $35 computers that I\'d paid over £1000 for
