+1 to Broadcom, and not forgetting the Pi foundation & moderators patience in the face of \"I want it all now\" postings.
I hope Liz is not reading this.... till 2012 .Because she does need her break.
So what if RaspPi not out until February? That\'s plenty soon enough. I\'ll happily wait longer.

Thanks Broadcom, meaning both the volunteers to Pi and those within the company who allow and encourage their work. Merry Christmas and Happy Holy Days.

Here\'s respect to everyone making this little thing happen.
It is interesting to have been allowed to follow development through this site.

Yes, but when they come in eighteen and a half minutes late, I\'d dock \'em half a days wages. And NO offers of mulled wine!

Is a mulled whine when you shove a red hot poker where the sun don\'t shine?

I\'m missing the \"proudly supported by\" list same go\'s for the credits to all the people who helped in the \"real\" development to getting to the point of hardware and a base little edited distro.

I\'ve assumed all along that Broadcom must be doing something really quite good to help the project along. I think the problem (as always) is that people who have a gripe tend to be more vocal than those that don\'t. The Broadcom naysayers are a vocal minority. I do, however, understand the impatient \"WHERE IS IT?!?!\" posts -- people are really excited about this, and are desperate to get their hands on one. They\'re just hyped, and you can\'t blame them. That\'s what the drip-feeding of information over the last few months was supposed to do, it worked. It also goes some way to show that Raspberry Pi has the demand it needs to succeed -- without that demand, the whole business would fail.
I really hope Raspberry Pi is a huge success. I have no doubt that they can sell as many as they make. I think the whole project is seriously amazing. It has even got me thinking about the whole concept of educating the next generation of programmers (I\'m a programmer myself). Hopefully I can help the whole movement in some small way or other, but I know that whatever I dream up, it will be as nothing compared to the magnificence of Raspberry Pi.
For my own children (in particular my 13 year old son), I couldn\'t wait -- I got him an Arduino for Christmas. That only came about because of the posts here about the GPIO pins on the Rasbperry Pi -- I hadn\'t even heard the term GPIO before, but I was so intrigued I had to go and find out all about it. As a result, I stumbled upon the equally amazing Arduino. I\'m even happier that once he\'s got his head around basic circuits, we\'ll be able to connect the Arduino to the Raspberry Pi over SPI and open it up to a world of internet connections, data collection and so on. Raspberry Pi has already expanded my horizons
As a developer, I\'ll be in the queue to get one of the first batch (with the hope that maybe I can write some getting-started/basic-programming tutorials or something). Unfortunately, when it comes to buying things that are in tight supply on the internet, I tend to fail. I\'m the one who comes along just after the server melts, or gets out-bid at the last second on ebay -- I don\'t fancy my chances. I\'ll be getting one at the first opportunity though

I appreciate it a lot, but I wouldn\'t expect anti-\"corporate\" people to, and linux attracts quite a few such losers.

Um, having different opinions or beliefs doesn\'t make somebody a loser. It wouldn\'t do for everybody to be the same.
