Hey Guys,
What is this talk of HardFloat version of arch for Pi. I understand the term, wondering when it is available ?. Is it likely to be a upgrade of the kernel or what ?
regards
Mac
Re: DirectFB on Raspberry Pi
I should be next week, v5 and v6hf will be available.
The kernel is really the only part that can be used, for hf everything else has to be new.
Both will be pure systemd boot, rc.conf will be empty so best read up on systemd
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Systemd
All the hard work will be done on conversion

Ok Great,
That sounds awesome. I am a old arch user and I been using gentoo for ages which uses openrc. So i haven't kept up to date on arch's implementation of systemd. So thanks for the heads up.
