Well, I'd like the difficult solution that is also kind of required by law. An option where I can be somewhat sure that none of my account details remain on this sites DB and such.... You know.. the concept of deleting ones account.

Is the purpose of this forum to give half baked "solutions" that do not address the actual question at all?

1) This is an international forum, it would help if you state where you are from and the "kind of" law you are referring to.

2) The purpose of this forum is to discuss Pi matters and if required other posters may provide solutions to any problems other Pi users may have.

That’s impossible - they have no email and PM is disabled on the board.

You can report your own post (use the ! In the top right of the post) and that lets you add a message to the mods.

Could you summarize how the Data Protection Act applies to this forum. Which, as far as I can tell, holds no personal data on anyone?

I think the only personal data which the forum holds is the user's email adress, if he didn't add furher information like location etc.
I think the RPF should state somewhere, that things you publish here are not considered "private". They are in the public domain.

I thought the admins were from the raspberry foundation? Which is definitely doing well fiscally, as it should be, as they make good products. Didn't know they were working for free
