Well, I'd like the difficult solution that is also kind of required by law. An option where I can be somewhat sure that none of my account details remain on this sites DB and such.... You know.. the concept of deleting ones account.W. H. Heydt wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 11:38 pmSo far as I know, there isn't one. You can just stop posting as the easiest solution.
1) This is an international forum, it would help if you state where you are from and the "kind of" law you are referring to.Timescale wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 12:16 amWell, I'd like the difficult solution that is also kind of required by law. Is the purpose of this forum to give half baked "solutions" that do not address the actual question at all?
That’s impossible - they have no email and PM is disabled on the board.
The one by Andyroo is very helpful as far as I see.

I think the only personal data which the forum holds is the user's email adress, if he didn't add furher information like location etc.

People expect so much, for free, from a band of volunteers on a forum and those working hard to create Free and Open Source software.
When they don't get what they demand they stamp their feet go off in a huff. In this case proclaiming that everything here is "completely pointless and useless".

We don't need that.
