Preloaded SD Cards

Wed Sep 04, 2019 2:48 pm

Hi everyone.
Preloaded SDcards
I struggled for whole summer to create a collection of ready to run packages.
It took lot of time and effort. I bought the php maianpal for the store
and also struggled over the settings and configurations.

Finally I have a mini online store.
I am selling ready to run preloaded SDcards. Each link for the sdcard
Each Sdcard item description has the link to the distribution, so if you are experienced You can do it yourself.
I also thrown in couple of custom SDcards (adding packages as Qt 12, python 3, espeak, RTSP's and such)

In any case if you want a preloaded micro SDcard with R-PI Os'es here they are.
Each Sdcard burn, boot and test takes about 30 min or so. I am adding to original SDcard
price just a small amount to pay out the work I do for each burn-test. Is far of being profitable
but is a start.

Thank you for reading.

I wish you well but a few things to think about:

1) Would you buy an image from a random website if you did not know what was on it?
2) If you put the links to the instructions does that reduce your market?
3) Can you actually sell the code you are pre-loading - do the licences (and you would have to check ALL software from OS upwards) allow ANY charges (inc distribution / media costs)?

Thank you.

I customized a2 SDcards with the QT4.12.4. All the SDcards have links to the description and
the source of the software origin. I am not selling distros or code, that's why I have the links in
the descriptions.
I am selling the SDcards. The price is for the SDcad+packaging+burning.
Regarding the links, you're right, but I fell right to to have it in every description.
I am not intending to make any profit it would work.
The site has an open blog for

Thx, appreciate the input.

I customized a2 SDcards ...
A2 cards require specialized hardware and firmware which the Pi does not have. In Pi computers they are actually slower than A1 cards. In fact, there are very few A2 compliant devices on the market, so it's a shame you fell for the marketing hype and didn't do more research before wasting money on over-priced, under-performing cards.

It's also a shame you didn't do a bit more research on copyright and intellectual property.

You claim you are not selling software, but I doubt that would hold up in court. You are selling something that contains someone else's intellectual property without their permission.
My mind is like a browser. 27 tabs are open, 9 aren't responding,
lots of pop-ups...and where is that annoying music coming from?
