Raspbian buster, unable to locate tvheadend package

Mon Jul 01, 2019 11:07 pm

Trying

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install tvheadend
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package tvheadend
is a no go in Buster. Any plans or alternatives to trying the TV hat with the Pi4b?

UPDATE: Just checked tvheadend and there is no release for Buster... yet :(
As humans we have been the same for a very very long time, technology changes how we do... not who we are as people.

I think Dougie got it to install with some apt wizardry, adding Stretch as a source I think. If I find the link I'll post back.

Edit.
See this thread.

It's not a complete solution. Because I still can't install Kodi.
tvheadend was working OK, but that machine got swapped back to Stretch until both tvheadend and kodi are in Buster.
