Is there a recommended cable type (6, 6a, 7, shielded, twisted, ...) when using
the PoE HAT for the 3 B+? I bought 12 inch, type 6, 26AWG patch cables as
the switch is next to the device. On the network jack the LED constantly
flashes amber and I see only about 100KB/s downloads with wget but
this may be limited by the speed of the SDcard.
If it matters this is the switch I'm using:

Basic Cat.6 is fine. Your distances are very short.
