You could try the latest Insider Preview version 17133:

The information is out there....you just have to let it in.

There's a workaround to get the RPi 3 B+ to boot Windows 10 IoT. The wifi seems to not have any drivers yet, but bluetooth dongles still work. Link below:

I tried to run it on RPi3B+. Nothing comes up. Also, the insider preview version does not work.emilnachev wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 10:03 amAre you sure that Model B+ can work with image from: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/w ... getstarted
I tried to do the workout link (https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forum ... WindowsIoT), but, it is confusing and doesn't worth it.
We may need to get RPi 3 (non +) or wait 3 months.

Hi,
I just jumped into raspberry Pi, been coding in C#, was bummed to find out IoT wasn't supported for the 3B+.

Looks like there is hope for the end of this month though

I have scoured across the internet and reached the end of my rope. My next step is to try the pi 3 (without the +) and see if that works.
I was sooo excited that i got my loT core license and could start building on this device but i am stuck now

Insider Preview version 17133: will not work without a bit of tweaking (Pi 3 B+).
Follow these steps to get it to boot;

Still trying to fix the Lan issue.
Doesn't detect at all.
Anyone had any luck?

You need to have a Microsoft Account and use the Insider Preview Release version 17744 which I stated above

Re: Windows 10 IoT Core support for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+
Since the last reply was a few months ago, I wanted to say I have a RPi 3b+ running Windows IoT Core.
Known Issues:
I downloaded the 17661 preview build (.iso) from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... windowsiot
I used 7zip to extract the .iso file.
I used 7zip to extract the .msi file within the new folder.
Then using the IoT Core Dashboard, in "Setting up a new device", specify a custom OS build by selecting the Windows_10_IoT_Core_RPi3B+.ffu file from the new folder created by extracting the .msi.
I did not realize at first those extraction steps were needed. They are are not documented. Once I got past that, my RPi 3b+ booted up. It does take a few minutes the first go round.
I hope this helps...
Known Issues:
- WiFi and BLE are not working with these steps (Ethernet does work)
