I try to solder a USB cable directly to the USB port. I saw that others de-solder the complete USB connector but there are PPxx that are connected to the USB contacts. This is where I want to solder to. It does not work and don't know why.
This seems to work: https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/q ... -usb-ports
Or here: https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/q ... usb-port-c

When I use a normal cable it works fine. 5V is taken from GPIO pin 4 and GND from pin 6 because USB power is not enough and connected directly to the Delock msata board (this is switched using the jumper).
When I solder a cable to the raspi it does not work. I tried different cables ... I tried all can imagine. Please take a look at the picture.
I measured all connections and they are ok. I have no clue. Btw, I changed D+/D- and vice versa - does not change anything.
Did anyone see something like this? Does anyone know why it does not work?
Are there any reasons why it cannot work?
Thank you very much!
