[Main problem Fixed, Other problem in another thread] Lot of folders missing on kernel compilation

Fri Mar 22, 2019 5:51 pm

as the title say, i tried to compile the 4.14.98 kernel using https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... uilding.md on my raspberry pi and apparently, a lot of folder were missing, should i create all of them manually or someone has an script to create all of them.
Maybe there is somethings else to do that i don't know?

These are drivers in "staging" status.
Your kernel make config file is probably missing

Code: Select all

CONFIG_STAGING=y
CONFIG_STAGING_MEDIA=y

so i compiled it a second time without your code, i'm using the "make menuconfig" command to modify my kernel, could it be it?
anyways, it compiled correctly the second time in 30 mins, but my custom kernel won't make wine work in my chroot x86 envirronment, even with a 3G/1G (that i set in the same menu), what's the path to get the file where this is written:

Code: Select all

CONFIG_VMSPLIT_3G=y
# CONFIG_VMSPLIT_3G_OPT is not set
# CONFIG_VMSPLIT_2G is not set
# CONFIG_VMSPLIT_2G_OPT is not set
# CONFIG_VMSPLIT_1G is not set
