possible uart conflict

Fri Mar 15, 2019 4:37 pm

I am running a gps hat on a rpi3.
I have lost my bluetooth connection.(adapter not found)
I am wondering if the gps is in conflict and whether its possible to configure bluetooth and the gps on the same device.
The gps is a HAB supplies board and the instructions for set up are on this link
https://www.modmypi.com/blog/raspberry- ... and-python

I have this output from hciuart status

$ sudo systemctl status hciuart
● hciuart.service - Configure Bluetooth Modems connected by UART
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/hciuart.service; disabled)
Active: inactive (dead)
Any help appreciated.

It’s possible that you have a clash as the Bluetooth and UART are very linked. To make it worse, the instructions you have followed are very old and UARTs have been caught in a name change since then :roll:

Have a look at https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... on/uart.md to have some light she’d on the mix and match.
