Those are rather lovely. I hate to think how much they would cost to ship to me in Canada, though. There are probably too few to interest someone like RNIB in the sale, so it might have to be ebay.

Would these work with modern Raspberry Pis?

I work for an assistive tech charity (Neil Squire Society's Makers Making Change) and we have a similar simple player. It's the Memory Loss Music Player.

Wow - that Memory Loss Player looks cool! I just had a look at the postage - at 1.2kg with dimensions of 24x24x31cm I'm getting around £20 cheapest for 5 day+ Canada Post service, which is CA$34.30.
I think ebay is really the only place - I'll post the link here once it's up there and live if that's OK?

Thanks

I've listed the whole project as one "lot" on ebay at http://ebay.us/UF4HuL?cmpnId=5338273189

  • Control panel circuit with illumination - SPI interface
  • Alternative firmware (control panel lights normally on vs normally off)
  • Soft-touch panel
  • PCB layout files
  • All PDF and IGS design files etc - photos only show part of drawing. Complete pack will be provided via download link or on CD if preferred.
  • Other early prototype drawings
NOT included:
  • Original control panel source code (Welsh Gov kept that - weirdly!)
  • Speaker, Winstar OLED display, Raspberry PI.

Would be delighted if someone accessibility-project-minded bought it!
