You have not linked to the Screen you purchased, only to some drivers which may or may not be correct.

That would indicate that the supplier provides very poor support for their product...which I would take as a warning about product quality.TakerSA wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 7:39 amRly? XPT2046 is a touchscreen driver, not a GPIO driven SPI screen driver.fruitoftheloom wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 3:12 pmTakerSA wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 2:22 pmSorry, i forgot about that, here it is: https://m.banggood.com/35-inch-TFT-LCD- ... ether-autofruitoftheloom wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 9:33 am

XPT2046 should be natively supported in Raspbian Stretch with Desktop AFAIAA

It is recommended as working on the first page of reviews on that product. Always read reviews!
Good for the price

Very easy to build case. Good working display. Difficult to install drivers. This worked for me: https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/3.5inch_RPi_LCD_(A)
In the description is a link (in RED) to a supplied OS image. Easy!
true.
Hi, thanks for all the info. I am trying to install the driver as well form the waveshare wiki. I have a 4.3 LCD. It is my first time working with Raspberry pi and I am afraid I am very confused and may be scared to do some of the things, because I may destroy something.
