PiWebserver isn't available from android

Tue Oct 16, 2018 6:53 am

I setup the pi 3 with an access point and also with webserver running a static html site for my local house environment, I setup the bridge ap point method using the raspberry tutorial ap point and also when I disconnected the cable from the pi, I can login to the pi hotspot and went to browser when I hit raspberrypi.local, its showing the local webserver which is working great.

but when I use my android device and try to connect to the pi with ap, its just stopping on obtaining ip address and never connected, and I tried assigning static ip into it and it connected but when I open up the android browser and hit the raspberrypi.local it shows err_name_not_resolved. and when I type in the ip of the pi which is it just redirect to the raspberrypi.local but same err_name_not_resolved error

anything I am missing here?

A DHCP server by the sounds of it.
