Has anyone used a Wii Balance Board recently with a recent Raspian installation.
Pi3 or PiZero built-in Bluetooth.
Any gotchas to look out for or advice.
Anything else I could do with it other than just a scale anyone used it as a control, step board?
-----
Boring rambling story...
So the time has come to play around with the Pi for myself.
I have a Wii balance board (and can pick up more as they are cheap at our recycle centre shop, normally)
A search of the forum picked up 1 post from 2013 with nothing worthwhile in it.
A web search brings up some things all linking to a github. (This will be my start point)

Anyway
(The only time I've tried Bluetooth was with Wii motes and RetroPie some time back, I gave up in the end.)
Re: Wii Balance board
Did you end up making anything?
Re: Wii Balance board
Yes and had it working at a PiJam some month back.
But it wasn't my code, though I did fees back and things have moved a bit.
Now just to find the links. Happens I will be testing the new setup later today.

If you looking the issues for Raspbian Stretch, and see bsimmo there are some newer ideas in there to get it working smoothly.
But if you need to change front there, that code will be a good basis.
