This sale is for HubPiWi Blue - a 3 Port USB hub plus Integrated Wifi and Bluetooth. With the launch of the Pi Zero W, the Wifi and BT functions have become redundant, but I am left with an inventory of about 150 or so. For $5 you get a nice 3 Port USB hub that connects only using 4 provided screws. Similar products sell for at least $9.

Re: Hub for Pi Zero with Pogo Pins on sale for $5
Looks interesting.
A couple of questions:
1) Do we buy it directly from you or from the web site? (Or are they one and the same?)
2) It looks like it is actually $9 for the first one - $6 for additionals. Are there any other hidden fees?
(taxes, licenses, etc)

Answers -
1.You can buy from the website directly. It is owned by my. So these are one and same.
2. It is $5 each plus $4 shipping. For additional unit, it is again $5 and $1 is for shipping. Hope that clarifies.

Re: Hub for Pi Zero with Pogo Pins on sale for $5
I could not find any current information on your site - is there current support in Raspbian for the HubWiPi Blue or do you still have to download and install support?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Re: Hub for Pi Zero with Pogo Pins on sale for $5
Frankly with the launch of the Raspberry Pi Zero the Wifi and Bluetooth support provided by HubPiWi Blue has become redundant. There is no support in the main line software for the HubPi Wi Blue, but integrating the driver support is not a great deal - just take a bit of time.
At $5 you get at least 3 USB Ports - all seamlessly connecting to Pi Zero. You get similar product selling for like $15.
Re: Hub for Pi Zero with Pogo Pins on sale for $5
UPDATE!!
@digger72 has sent me 2 usb hubs and they have arrived, Even though the problem i discovered was MY fault, When ordering i failed to correctly select the international shipping option, and consequently only paid the local US shipping fee..
I only discovered this after checking my paypal history for the transaction id to send off to @digger72, When i realised my error i emailed digger72 to offer the difference i owe but the kind gent sent the boards regardless..
Thanks digger72..

Re: Hub for Pi Zero with Pogo Pins on sale for $5
My two hubs finally arrived on Friday last week and both work fine with driver from https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8723bu , thanks digger72.
Compiling wifi/bt driver directly on the pi zero takes more than half an hour, though. And getting raspberrypi-kernel-headers took some time too. And I had to boot the sdcard in Pi Zero W to get the driver and then switch to plain Zero. I did not copile the rtl8723au_bt bluetooth driver, yet it seem to work somehow after getting the wifi driver working.
BTW I also considered 4 port zero hubs from http://www.uugear.com/store/ but this one was slightly cheaper and I wanted wifi.

Even if you do not use its Wifi and Bluetooth Functionality the 3 USB ports with Pogo Pins for $5 is a great deal in itself.
Re: Hub for Pi Zero with Pogo Pins on sale for $5
