PipaOS is Raspbian based, boots in 3 seconds

http://pipaos.mitako.eu/download/pipaos ... 5.0.img.gz
305Mb, expanded image is 2.8Gb with 1.2Gb free
PipaOS 5.0 is Raspbian Jessie with X Windows, running Openbox (right
click for apps and shells/terminals). It is a console OS, I just tacked
on some frills.

this image has the following installed:
gpm - general purpose mouse (on console), use middle-click to copy, use
right-click to paste
fte - a DOS EDIT work-a-like console editor
gcc-6.1.0 - in "/usr/local/gcc-6.1.0/bin" (see "/etc/profile")
chromium-browser - "~/bin/chrome" runs on VT6 from a console or an X
windows terminal (X is now on VT1, not VT7 - use CTRL+ALT+F1 .. F6 to
switch VT)
PepperFlash - Flash for Chromium Browser
not ( SDL - version 1.2.15 from DietPi ) this is self build version
mount-manager2 - a custom usb mount script for UDEV (no extra overhead)
wpa_supplicant.conf - working (roaming) wifi, add your own in order of
preference, "sudo ifconfig wlan0 down && sudo ifconfig wlan0 up" will
connect to strongest signal starting from top of conf file.
some other things I can't remember like "sqlite commanline tools", 7zip

this image does not have installed:
a graphical file manager (use "mc" in console or terminal)
a desktop (like LXDE,KDE, Mate or Cinnamon)
SDL2
The complete SDL 1.2 -dev install will add a further 65Mb after

882Mb, expanded image is 2.8Gb with 868Gb free

enjoy 3 second boot times and (almost) instant shutdown

Cheers

Paul

I have an updated udev mount manager that should work with any fuse driver (ntfs-3g auto-mounts as fuseblk)
either modify "/etc/udev/rules.d/99-mount_manager.rules" or "/sbin/mount_manager/mount_manager_v2"

"mount_manager_v2" comes fro the following url, and will probably be updated with my fixes sometime after this post:
