update rasperry pi 3

hello everyone. i was wondering if anyone have the same issue i have i updated my rasperry pi3 everything stoped working,
bluetooth, wifi, usb ports, etc. if anybody can help me will be much appreciated. thnks in advance

Yes, that's a description of the Pi3B. The question was about which OS (there are several) you are using and what process you went through to update your OS. And one other--minor--point...please turn off your caps lock. It makes you look like you're shouting at people and will tend to inhibit useful and knowledgeable answers.

ok sorry about caps erlier. i did a system update from retroarch. and i think the os is windows.

Hi. I have a few questions.

1) What operating system are you running? You say you are running Retroarch, can you provide a link to the site that you downloaded the image from / and any instructions that you followed to install it?
2) What brand and capacity micro-SD card are you using? Where did you buy it from?
3) SNES controllers - where did you buy these from? Did they advertise compatibility with the Pi?

Windows? Much as I'd like to say "impossible", I'll settle for...highly unlikely. The x86 versions of Windows won't run on a Pi at anything resembling usable speed, plus you'd have to running simulator under some other OS, and the few ARM versions aren't compiled to run a Pi. I'll point out that there is a Linux distribution called "Arch", so I would surmise that "retroarch" might be related to that.

my brother got the sameone. and hes sure it is a linux. im gonna believe him. hes not doing the update since he saw what happend to mine.

How is your brother sure his Pi is running a Linux-based operating system? What software did he install on the micro-SD card?

but i dont know anymore. it doesnt say in the box or anywhere around . not even inside where the motherboard is

Yup, that's a troll. Thanks for trying to help, folks; we really appreciate how kind people are to beginners here. Genuine beginners, that is. (I should add - there are some other tells, and I'm not just jumping down OP's throat for being a strange mix of amazingly clueless and reasonably informed. A whois doesn't match the country location of the poster with the localised Hotmail the email address registered claims to be from, and the OP isn't using this pseudonym anywhere else online, which is often a sure sign something fishy's going on.)
