Pixel OS Booting via PXE

Hello,

how can I boot Desktop Pixel OS over PXE ??
(A running PXE Station is available (Synology DiskStation))

You need to research the capabilities of the motherboard in your PC. It may or may not permit PxE booting, but that's the only way to find out if and how it can be done. (If your PC has a NIC that isn't on the motherboard, then you'll also have to research what the NIC is capable of.)

That's not going to be possible before we get an installable X86 PIXEL.

And maybe not even then. "Wake on LAN" is a feature of some PC M/B+BIOS, but I don't recall hearing about a boot over LAN being a feature. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, just that I don't recall hearing of it. If it exists for PCs, it would be far more likely to exist on a M/B designed for servers than for desktops, I suspect. Well...Google finds sites that describe how to do it, though the one I looked at has a...peculiar...definition for "NIC", which makes me concerned for the quality rest of what they say, but it appears to exist.

PXE booting is a feature of some BIOSes. My HP laptop has that.
