What is my ICQ
Was trying to add my location and I get an "invalid ICQ number" error. What the heck is an ICQ number and why does it matter if I put it in my profile? Is this some government big brother watching stuff?

ICQ (I seek You), a fairly dated instant messaging service. If you don't have an ICQ account then leave it blank.

I don't knowingly have an ICQ number.
In common with probably in excess of 99.99% of forum users that box in my profile is empty.
No harm seems to result. Job done, move on..
(I'm pretty sure an internet search engine could reveal what it is. Probably more mundane than Big Brother... )

Yep happens here too, I talk to people from Perth (20 odd miles up the road) then realise it's Perth, Australia.

Maybe to you. While I would say it is old it seemed to retain popularity in Asia (or at least with the Chinese) for longer, think I last saw it used about 5 years ago by a guy from Hong Kong.
