SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for Raspi 3

Did anybody try? I always get

HDMI out of range

on first boot, no way to get beyond that, apparently...

I have the image downloaded as interested in trying I will let you know over the weekend.

I am responding as this is a 64bit image specifically for the PI3 as I am aware.
Is yours a PI3 ?

All just wondered is the Forum Admins should add another Section as its highly probable OpenSuse will follow but so far no guarantee.

This is probably cos I'm a relative newbie but I can't get SUSE to boot!

I've followed the instructions given by suse.com here:

https://www.suse.com/documentation/suse ... stallation

and have a formatted sdcard with several partitions and suse os files etc. as I can view them as a mounted drive.

But when I turn off my pi and switch sd cards suse simply won't boot up.

Any ideas?

It is a RPi 3 Model B, that works fine with the card that houses NOOBs. The one I'm using now!

Hi!

You won't see much activity on the LEDs, but there should be at least some basic output on your monitor.

Can you follow the output on the serial console (115200)?
