RasPi as a print server (without Linux drivers)

Hello Community!

I want to setup my Raspi as a wifi printer server. I own a Brother DCP 357c printer I would like to keep using for that purpose.

The main problem: Brother does not offer ARM-drivers and I can not install the printer on Raspian for example by using CUPS.

Is it somehow possible to create some kind of bypass between the wifi-dongle at the Raspi and the printer so a Windows PC in the network could gain direct access to the printer and send any data without the Raspi having to process them first?

Are there any other possibilities to create a printer server with this printer model in combination with a Raspi? I'm open for all ideas.

Hello,
You can use a Raw Queue.
But, I don't know if work with any printer.
One problem can is to configure printer driver on windows/linux/mac to use this raw queue.

I found the cups driver source code that is supposed to work for my printer. How could I get that to work now?
