SODIMM Connector

Mon Feb 09, 2015 10:27 pm

I was wondering if anyone could tell me (or direct me to the answer) what each of the SODIMM connector pins on the CM are for, if not I also am looking for the CMIO pcb designs and directions on how to view them free.
Thanks in advance! :D :D

Thanks, but I've already seen those, I have been told that the cad files need a lisence for some software but because the thread was removed I can't figure out what I need. If you know where the cad files are and what software I need or have a picture or pdf etc. conversion of them. I am looking for something similar to those released by openPi except for the CM and CMIO.

So the PDF (RPI-CMIO-V1_2-PUBLIC-SCHEMATIC.pdf) in the zip file is not good enough?

As I said I am looking for the pcb designs, not the schematics.

Did you actually look in the ZIP file ?

README.txt contains the following
This zip file should contain:
README.txt (this file)
RPI-CMIO-V1_2-PUBLIC.DSN (Cadence OrCAD Schematic)
RPI-CMIO-V1_2-PUBLIC.brd (Cadence OrCAD/Allegro PCB file)
RPI-CMIO-V1_2-PUBLIC-BOM.xlsx (Bill of Materials)
RPI-CMIO-V1_2-PUBLIC-SCHEMATIC.pdf (PDF of schematic)
/GERBERS (Board gerbers, see README.txt in this directory for further info)

You said
what each of the SODIMM connector pins on the CM are for,
and AFAICS that's what the PDF does.

I'm sorry, I meant to originally say I wanted the pcb designs.

can you open them with the lite version of orCAD? Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for, when I ran some clean up utilities it deleted the README for some reason :) :?:
