Audio I/O board for Compute Module

Wed Jan 28, 2015 10:57 am

Hey all

I see that people have been trying to get audio out of the compute module:

http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... io#p659357

...and that some people are maybe going to kickstart compute module i/o boards soon:

http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... 98&t=89069

buy is anyone already there, with an audio-capable i/o board for the compute module that could be used now? I'm working on a project where we are evaluating using the compute module as a daughterboard, but first I need to understand how embeddable audio synthesis environments like libpd:

https://github.com/libpd

...might perform in the compute module...so I guess I need to be able to hear it!

Hm cool, thanks! But I guess I just need audio out, no frills. I see that GPIO pins need to be reversed to be like the B+, and then I guess I could to a small amp...

Are you interested in buying a PCB found in www.hasseb.fi/pi/pics. You can find the schematics from http://www.hasseb.fi/pi. The are an audio jack and RaspberryPi GPIO connectors available in the PCB. There is also an aluminium enclosure available with a cutout for 4x20 LCD display.

The price for the PCB without Compute module is $100 including postage.

In the PCB picture, all connectors are not soldered yet.
