Is raspi-config on CM4 different than pi4b?

I'm running latest Buster / updated etc..
running latest raspi-config + updated inside raspi-config (no update needed)

But I don't get certain options.. like Advanced -> GL Drivers -> kms. (only legacy and fkms)
Also the order of menus seems different compared to pi4B images I have seen.

I have to set kms in config.txt and it works fine. Faster than fkms in vulkan demos.

I also end up with a headless system after reboot when I install vulkan using: https://qengineering.eu/install-vulkan- ... ry-pi.html
and author can't replicate this on a Pi4B. This could be another change in behavior with the graphics stack on CM4 vs Pi4B...

(PiKiss installs Vulkan with kms as default and it works on cm4)

Does anyone have experience with this?

raspi-config menu options can be different depending on which RPi is detected.

KMS on 2711 (Pi4/CM4) at launch didn't exist at all, and is still considered in early development although very nearly there.
Once it's considered stable it will be added to raspi-config.

Thanks. I thought it was with 5.10. So far it plays well with Vulkan with about a 20-40% performance boost.

Nearly there, but there would still be such a tail of issues raised if it was there for all that it's still a manual selection job.
