Pi 3B+ image compatible with CM3+?

Tue Feb 12, 2019 1:17 am

I have some very heavy time invested into my SD image on my Pi 3B+. Stretch, OpenCV, Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch and a whole bunch of stuff. Now, I need to migrate to the compute module. Will my SD image from the 3B+ work unmodified on the Compute module, or do I need to rebuild everything from scratch?

Provided the firmware is recent enough to recognise the CM3+, and assuming the image fits, there should be no issues.

Since the least amount of flash on a CM3+ is 8GB, that shouldn't be an issue.
