Measuring Current Draw on Specific Pins

Fri Oct 05, 2018 3:11 pm

I am looking to measure the current draw of specific pins (VDAC, 3V3, 1V8, VBAT) on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3, but am not sure how to go about doing it. I have considered soldering leads to the pins but am not sure this is feasible given their size. Any advice?

The CMIO has four Zero (0) Ohm resistor: R1,R4,R5,R6
You can unsolder them and measure current from there.

Refer to page 2 of the CMIO schematic https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... IO_3p0.pdf
