CM3 does not include camera adapters

Tue Feb 07, 2017 1:19 pm

Hello,

I have just ordered a compute module 3 and 2 cameras from RS. The kit does not include camera adapters, and as far as I can see, they are only available if I buy a compute module 1. Can they be sourced independently?

Thank you.

I thought they came with the IO board? Since they cannot connect directly to the CM1/3, only the IO board, that is why they are packaged like that.

Yes one needs the Development Board kit to obtain the adapters;

If one is creating a base board you would use the standard connectors as used on the Rpi B models....
