NEC was asked and said that anyone would be able to buy the CM3-16, which makes sense because otherwise how could anyone buy spare CM3-16s or replace modules if one fails. FYI...It's not that I have a use for CM3-16 modules. It's mostly curiosity. The project I have in mind is going to use CM3L modules booting from SSDs.
