"Package" Options

Wed Jan 25, 2017 4:39 am

Allied (US sub of Farnell) is selling the CMIO3 by itself for $120. Newark (US sub of RS) is selling a kit of a CMIO3, CM3, CM3L, PSU (multinational), and a few other bits for $200. The RS kit is probably the better value, but only if you need the added items, while the Farnell approach is probably better if you don't. I wonder which approach will do better in the marketplace....

To me is not really clear what Farnell, in my country, sells as Computer Module Kit "RASPBERRY-PI RPI-COMPUTE3-KIT Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 Development Kit" ... They show 2 CM3 boards included with 1 CMIO board, but I'm not sure you get 2 CM modules.
