External gpu for a triple monitor setup

Fri Jan 06, 2017 8:00 pm

Hello Forumers
I'm wondering if it's possible to do a dual/triple monitor rpi on raspbian. So i thought if i only could plug any gpu externally into the pi.I know it has been done with laptops so what can be done on laptops probably can be done on the pi. I'm new to the pi but i know linux a little.

Thanks

Absolutely NOT. A Pi is nowhere near a PC/Laptop in architecture. ( no PCI bus for example )
You can maybe add one (or two idk) usb DisplayLink devices. There is a couple of threads on the forum about it.. viewtopic.php?f=66&t=12761
