Raspberry Pi Compute Module Reformat

Wed May 20, 2015 3:49 am

Hi,
My compute module is not able to get past early in the boot stage. I believe I may have corrupted the disk image in the file transfer, and I would like to redo everything. How do I erase everything I did and start from scratch?
Thanks

Why are you not able to grab the latest Raspbian image, your development board, and your micro usb cable, and then reflash the eMMC from your host PC?

Hello,

I just received my compute module this week
I've spent a full day trying to get the latest Raspbian image to boot up.
I got 2015-02-16-raspbian-wheezy.zip from https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/, followed directions and copied it over from my rpi2. No luck.

I found this link viewtopic.php?f=98&t=105386 which suggested I try an older image.
and I found 2014-12-24-wheezy-raspbian.zip at http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbi ... 014-12-25/
This one just worked.

I hope this helps,

Bob
