Hello everyone, I am designing PCB board which will include RPI CM3+.
The output capacitors of the buck converter from (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... gnfiles.md) rpi design guide are understandable for me, but they also used 47uF Capacitors after that, what are they for? Also I have seen a lot of designs where people use few capacitors instead of one for example at input of Buck converter mentioned above.
Why those values are so high and why use more than 1 cap? Is that because of "nominal" values of caps?
I decided to use 2 bucks TPS62141 (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps62141.pdf) and TPS62142 for 1.8V and 3.3V inputs, also I used datasheet values, according to formula for Cin they are far more enough for voltage ripple devation for CM3+ (datasheet). Can someone comment on that?
