Wolfram Alpha looks really cool

Tue Feb 25, 2014 5:09 pm

Hey All,
I just discovered Wolfram Alfpha and it looks amazing!

http://venturebeat.com/2014/02/24/knowl ... he-making/

I would love to start playing with Wolfram Alpha on the Pi but don't know where to start. I see in the article above that Wolfram will be part of a future releases of Raspberry Pi. I assume this will be in the form of an image like Wheezy or XBMC?

And I see that there is a new sub section on the Raspberry Pi forums for Wolfram. Has anyone got this running on their machines yet?

Looking forward to hearing more about this new language!

Ride On!

The Wolfram language and Mathematica are extremely cool. I have them on all three of my RPis. They're now included as part of the Raspbian distribution. If you have Raspbian and would like to install it, instructions are here.

Cool I'm installing it now and it's big, almost 600MB, I'm glad I have a 16GB card.

Can't wait to try some of the graphing features in Wofram!
